Paul Getty Museum.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBorn and raised in France, Despont is a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts, holds a masters degree in urban design and city planning from Harvard University, and is a chevalier of the French Legion of Honor and of the Arts and Letters. His artwork has been seen in numerous solo and group exhibitions in New York, Paris, London, Monaco, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, and Venice.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDespont has written several books, including \u003ci\u003eMasks\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eStudio\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eInsects\u003c\/i\u003e, and \u003ci\u003ePlanets\u003c\/i\u003e, published by Assouline.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFred A.
